If seats remain vacant, then they are filled via MOP-UP procedure of this counselling committee.
- Register with AFMS website for admission in 9 armed forces colleges across the country.
- Admission process begins with Priority I > II > III > IV >V. PriorityV admission usually happens in the month of May.
- A physical counseling session is held at AFMC. Everyone who has registered with the website gets an AFMS merit rank.
- Counseling for the seats is held as per AFMS merit list. Candidate have to sign a bond of services for 5 years or 28 Lakhs (this may vary). The candidates who have picked up a seat have to undergo a medical examination over a period of 2 days at AFMC. Candidates have to make their own provision of stay during this period. Medical examination is conducted by specialists from – Medicine, Surgerey, Opthalmology, ENT, Dental, OBGY (for females). Candidates also have to undergo investigations like – blood, X-ray, USG. Overweight is a criteria to deem unfit.
